Onboarding

For Providers

  2. Verify your training through the FSMB.
  3. Maintain any privileges at hospitals that you have worked with previously.
  4. Apply for new privileges with our surgical facilities.
For Facilities
  1. Create a profile that describes your facility, and what you are looking for in a provider
  2. We customize the onboarding process to the facility. So schedule a meeting with us to discuss case coverage needs, orientation of providers, anesthesia billing, and more.
  3. Get our providers privileges at your facility.

The Marketplace

For Providers
  1. Browse job opportunities.
  2. Apply to the jobs that you prefer.
  3. Review job offers from facilities.
  4. Negotiate rates, or accept the rates offered.
  5. Book work once you have privileges at that facility.

  1. Input details of OR job openings including dates, time of shits, hourly or daily rate, number of cases, surgeon, and special considerations (peds, hearts, blocks, etc).
  2. Invite your favorite providers to apply.
  3. Review applications. Negotiate rates. Accept the best candidate.
  4. Pay for provider when provider is booked.
  5. Bill for anesthesia services after work is performed.

The Work Shift

For Providers
  1. Orient prior to your first day at the new facility.
  2. On day of shift be early, smile, and enjoy working independently.
  3. Complete all charting paperwork.
  4. Get paid for the shift within one business day of completed work.
For Facilities
  1. Orient all providers prior to their first day at your facility. Orientation will include name tags, meds, locker room info, tour of OR and anesthesia workroom, etc.
  2. Start on time. Smile. Get cases done!
  3. You have already paid for the anesthesia when you booked them.
  4. Bill for anesthesia services and recover anesthesia costs.

For Providers

Providers receive payment for their work at rates they have chosen.

Facilities pay Hospital Hands when they book an anesthesia provider. Hospital Hands pays the provider when the work is completed. It's as simple as that.

Hospital Hands charges both the facility and the anesthesia provider a nominal administrative fee.

Facilities get to bill for the anesthesia provider's work.
